Prime Minister met with high level World Bank officials, 9

Yesterday morning, June 7th, the Prime Minister met, at the Government
Palace, with Xian Zhu, World Bank Country Director, and with Sarah
Cliff, World Bank Manager, in Washington
Also yesterday morning, the Prime Minister, Mari Alkatiri, had
a joined meeting with the Ministers of Defense from Australia
and New Zealand. Along with several matters discussed, related
with Australian and New Zealand troops in Timor-Leste, one of
them was the future location and ways of action of those two international
forces.
On the afternoon, the Prime Minister met with the Minister and
Vice Minister of Plan and Finance and Minister of Public Works.
The Secretary of State for the Council of Ministers and the Secretary
of State for the Environmental Co-ordination, Space Planning and
Physical Development also attended this meeting. The main subject
discussed was the allocation of funds, to be included on the next
fiscal year budget, for humanitarian relief and reconstruction
support.
